Chinese CG pays visit to UoS
Chinese Consul General in Lahore Zhao Shiren visited the Pakistan Institute of China Studies (PICS) at the University of Sargodha (UoS), marking the very first visit of the Chinese Consul General to the city.
During his visit, Zhao appreciated the university administration for building academic and research links with Chinese institutions and vowed to strengthen cooperation with the UoS in various fields of mutual interest. The Chinese CG also visited the under-construction PICS building and pledged maximum support for the promotion of Chinese Language and Culture at Sargodha University.
Prior to this, he attended the 9th UoS convocation ceremony as the guest of honour, where Vice Chancellor Dr Qaisar Abbas presided over the proceedings.
