Alvi for enhanced trade with Serbia

The envoy was also asked to assist in increasing the frequency of business visits to each other country

ISLAMABAD:

President Dr Arif Alvi has underlined the need for substantially enhancing bilateral trade between Pakistan and Serbia. Talking to Pakistan’s Ambassador-designate to Serbia Ali Haider Altaf on Tuesday, Alvi said that it was essential to promote business and trade activities to fully realise the potential of economic cooperation. He urged the ambassador-designate to make efforts to establish business and commercial linkages and increase cooperation between the chambers of commerce of the two countries. The envoy was also asked to assist in increasing the frequency of business visits to each other country to explore new areas of cooperation, particularly in the fields of higher and technical education, information technology and culture.
