Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Parliamentary Leader in the Sindh Assembly Khurrum Sher Zaman on Monday requested the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take suo moto action over the violation of the Official Secrets Act by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
Zaman blasted the PM for discussing and consulting state affairs with an unauthorised person - his elder brother Nawaz Sharif.
The PTI leader expressed outrage that the Prime Minister would be consulting his brother, Nawaz Sharif, on the appointment of the next Chief of Army Staff and other affairs of the state with him.
Even Defence Minister Khawaja Asif confirmed on Friday that consultations were held on the Chief of Army Staff appointment in the meeting between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Nawaz Sharif, Zaman said.
He questioned why decisions on national issues are being discussed and made in a foreign country.
