Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif will inaugurate the 11th edition of Defence Exhibition - IDEAS 2022 - at the Karachi Expo Centre on Tuesday (today), organisers said on Monday.
Traffic police have asked commuters to check traffic diversion plan for Sharae Faisal before heading out on the main thoroughfare during the four-day event.
The exhibition, which will continue until November18, has attracted 64 countries who will display their latest and innovative products.
As many as 285 delegations from 51 countries are participating in this year's show. Australia, Romania and Hungary are participating for the first time.
A very important seminar "Intelligence in Defence Market" will also be held during the event.
Apart from the six halls of the expo centre, three marquees have also been set up, one of which has been named after Kashmir.
A Karachi Show will also be held on November 17 at Nishan-e-Pakistan on the beach for the citizens.
IDEAS 2022 will also be attended by high-level defence delegations of friendly countries.
