It’s 92 all over again: Ahmed Ali Butt, Sana Javed troll India after its exit from T20 WorldCup

It’s fair to call the Pakistan cricket team’s entry into the T20 World Cup finals nothing short of a miracle. From almost getting knocked out of the tournament to securing a place in the finals, every cricket fan is over the moon and that happiness doubled after the Indian cricket team lost the semifinals against England on Thursday. While fans and celebrities celebrated Pakistan’s entry into the finals after 13 long years, they also trolled India on its defeat —- arch-rivals for a reason, always.

It all started with Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan’s tweet on how the “neighbouring country” may have won but they still don’t have grace — and that was enough to trigger all cricket enthusiasts who patiently waited for India’s loss to burn Pathan’s comment to the ground.

Haroon Shahid also joked about India’s loss. “Irfan Pathan would be telling England to ‘show some grace’ to India,” read his tweet.

Pakistan will play against England in the T20 World Cup final on Sunday.
