Humayun rubs shoulders with 'The Crown' co-stars at season's premiere in London
Humayun Saeed, who plays Dr Hasnat Khan in The Crown Season 5, had a ball at the show’s premiere held in London on Tuesday. Reunited with his co-stars, the actor took a few selfies, graced the red carpet, and shared moments from the event on his Instagram to keep fans back home updated.
Saeed shared a series of pictures with Elizabeth Debicki, who plays Princess Diana in the latest installment, alongside others. He captioned the post, “Indeed a great pleasure to interact with my co-actors and crew at the premiere in London last night. The Crown season 5 now available to stream on Netflix!”
In another post, he shared photos of himself from the red carpet. The actor looked dapper in a black tuxedo, donned over a pleated wing tip white dress shirt with a bow tie. He captioned this post, “Feel privileged and honoured to be part of The Crown team. Thank you all for your warm wishes, your congratulatory messages and your appreciation. Means the world to me!”
The cast and crew of The Crown were also joined by Netflix boss Ted Sarandos. Before the screening started, Sarandos took to the stage at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in central London on Tuesday evening to introduce the new season. During his speech, Sarandos called the series the “crown jewel” in Netflix’s original series catalogue, reported Variety.
The Crown Season 5 starring Elizabeth Debicki, Jonathan Pryce, Imelda Staunton, Jonny Lee Miller, among others, is available to stream on Netflix.
