Cricket: Nasaki XI reach semi-finals

KARACHI: Tariq Haroon hit an enterprising 43 as Nasaki XI sneaked into the semi-finals of Nasaki Dr MA Night Trophy with an exciting two-wicket victory over Omer Cricket Club. Chasing 134 for victory, Tariq blasted six boundaries in a 30-ball knock, while Uzair scored a vital seven runs in two deliveries to ensure his team triumphed on the final ball. Earlier, Omer Cricket Club made 133 for the loss of eight wickets. Off-spinner Haris Ayaz was the pick of the bowlers bagging three wickets for 23 runs.
