Netflix is releasing Stranger Things VR game by late 2023

Players can assume the role of Vecna and enact revenge on Eleven and Hawkins

Netflix and game developer, Tender Claws, have announced a VR Stranger Things game set to release in winter 2023 on all VR platforms.

According to a press release, the game will let players assume the role of Season 4 villain Vecna, and let them "enact revenge on Eleven and Hawkins".

The video released on the announcement entailed that players could explore unknown realities while forming the hive mind and taming the void. Players will be able to "invade minds and conjure nightmares" in the psychological horror/action game.

Netflix has released previous games around its flagship series like Stranger Things: The VR Experience and Stranger Things 3: The Game.
