TikTok faced a 20 minute outage on its 'For You' page
TikTok users faced a brief outage late Friday when trying to load the 'For You' page inside the app. The error lasted 20 minutes, showing users a “no internet connection” notice, after which the app resumed normal functionality, reported The Verge.
While the company didn't post any updates about the outage, Downdetector identified 75,000 users facing the issue. NetBlocks, a global internet connectivity monitor observed the outage affected users globally with no sign of a country-level filter.
