Minor boy’s body recovered

LAHORE:

A five year old boy’s whose abduction case was registered in Badami Bagh has been recovered near a railway lines in Ravi Road on Wednesday. The victim has been identified as Ayyan. He had gone missing few days back and his father Arshad had registered a case against his abduction in Badami Bagh police station.

On Wednesday his body was spotted near railway lines in Ravi Road Police station limits. Police on information reached the spot to collect forensic evidence. SP City Sarfaraz Virk visited the crime scene.

An investigations official shared that the victim had received serious head injuries and his skull was crashed. However, he had no marks or sign of sexual advances or assault. The victim also had not marks of torture.

The scene suggested that he might have hit the ground after falling down heavily or someone hit him with something heavy of he met some other accident. Police were investigating the matter keeping in view different angles. Police said the cause of death would be ascertained after autopsy and further investigations.
