If I raise my hand on my wife, my son will do the same: Yasir Hussain
On Tuesday, Yasir Hussain shared a post on his Instagram lamenting domestic violence while stressing how it affects a child's upbringing. In doing so, he also showed his support for actor Feroze Khan’s ex-wife, Syeda Aliza Sultan and her family.
While sharing a picture with his wife, actor Iqra Aziz, the Badshah Begum actor discussed the ordeal of abuse and its harrowing impact on children. He initiated the dialogue by appreciating his family, "Alhamdulillah, I love my wife and children a lot."
Yasir further went on to highlight how children mirror the actions of their parents. "If I raise my hand on my wife, then there is a ninety percent chance my son will do the same," he noted.
The Baandi actor also stated that he's "strictly" against violence and will not support abusers regardless of their social status. "It is quite normal for couples to fight, but hitting each other like animals is absurd. I am strictly against domestic violence, whether the horrid act committed by an ordinary man or a superstar," he added.
Yasir concluded his statement by highlighting Aliza's pain and giving all his support to her. He also prayed for her swift recovery, hoping the future would bring her more strength. He wrote, "I support Aliza and her family. May God get her out of this misery and bring more peace to her life. Ameen."
After Aliza submitted evidence in court of being allegedly abused by her ex-husband, actor Feroze, the news has been making rounds on social media. Many celebs, including Mansha Pasha, Sajal Ali, and Dania Enwer have spoken against the Tich Button actor and demanded authorities take action.
