PTI demands justice for Taha Sheikh

Zaidi said that the faces of suspects are visible on the CCTV, yet the Sindh police fail to catch them

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Sindh President Ali Zaidi said on Wednesday that the Sindh police are not pursuing the murder case of PTI activist Taha Sheikh seriously.

After reciting surah Fateha for the deceased and expressing condolences to the bereaving family, Zaidi said PTI would stage a protest in front of the Sindh IG office if the murderers are not immediately arrested, Zaidi said.

He was talking to the media after visiting Taha Sheikh'sSheikh's family at his residence at Karachi'sKarachi's Railway Housing Society Gulshan-e-Iqbal.

During a conversation with the press, Zaidi said, "Karachi's peace is deteriorating once again."

He recalled that Taha joined PTI in 2011 as an energetic political activist and community mobiliser, working as the coordinator of PTI MPA and FixIt movement founder Alamgir Khan. Zaidi said that the faces of suspects are visible on the CCTV, yet the Sindh police fail to catch them.
