NLC wins Kalma Chowk remodelling contract

Punjab Central Business District Development Authority (PCBDDA), also known as Central Business District (CBD Punjab), has awarded the contract for the construction of CBD Boulevard and the remodelling of Kalma Chowk underpass to the National Logistic Cell (NLC).
PCBDDA Executive Director Technical Riaz Hussain said, “after completing the documents and other formalities, we have awarded the contract to the NLC out of the three government-owned organisations invited for the bid including National Construction Company (NCC) and Frontier Works Organisation (FWO)”.
He further added that the contract was awarded to the NLC at the quoted price of Rs4.22 billion. The authority has already allocated a budget of around Rs5 billion for the CBD Boulevard and the remodeling of the Kalma Chowk underpass.
