Two cooking oil brands banned
KARACHI:
Two brands of cooking oil being sold in the city have been banned because they are substandard, announced the media coordinator of Pakistan Standard and Quality Control Authority (PSQCA), Rehmatullah Memon.
In the past month, PSQCA has tested more than 20 brands of cooking oil out of which seven were substandard and harmful for health. The stocks of these brands have been confiscated and a show cause notice has been issued to the manufacturers of these brands.
