Dar meets World Bank president

Malpass assured the minister that the bank would continue to work with the government to help Pakistan

ISLAMABAD:

Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Ishaq Dar met with World Bank President David Malpass in Washington and thanked the bank for its continued support in the socio-economic development of Pakistan. He acknowledged the World Bank’s assistance for the rescue and relief operations in the aftermath of the unprecedented floods. Malpass assured the minister that the bank would continue to work with the government to help Pakistan overcome its socio-economic challenges due to the floods.
