‘Inauguration of seven schools soon’
The Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) will soon inaugurate seven educational institutions in the Islamabad Capital Territory.
According to official sources, work on seven new schools has been completed and they will soon be inaugurated. According to FDE officials, these educational institutions will accommodate approximately 7,480 students.
The officials said that 519 classrooms were also in the pipeline in existing institutions which will accommodate approximately 2,0760 students after construction in two years.
They said that PC-I for future projects has been submitted to Federal Education Ministry for approval to increase the intake of students in educational institutions. These projects are Islamabad Model School for Girls, Model Town, Chak Shehzad Islamabad, Islamabad Model College for Boys Multi Garden, Islamabad, Islamabad Model School for Girls, Tele Garden, the up-gradation of IMSB, Mohra Noor, Islamabad, the reconstruction/up-gradation of IMSG Tumair and Dhoke Suleman, Islamabad.
The Federal Directorate of Education has 424 educational institutions in the federal capital and approximately, 225,115 students are presently studying in these schools and colleges.
