Father-daughter time: Lucky Ali shares a glimpse from his journey to Madina
Indian singer Lucky Ali is on his way to unlocking another special bond with his daughter Tasmiyah as the father-daughter duo embarks on their journey to Madina.
On Tuesday, the 64-year-old musician shared a video on his Instagram which featured the two sitting on a train. “Father-Daughter time… on the bullet train to Madinah,” he wrote. The short clip saw Lucky asking Tasmiyah if she’s enjoying her journey so far, to which she mentions that the trip feels like she’s in a movie.
Tasmiyah also updated her social media with a selfie from their journey on the train. “Father and Daughter || a very goofy duo,” she captioned the post.
Tasmiyah is Lucky’s daughter from his first marriage with Ta’Awwuz, and just like her father, Tasmiyah also shares musical talent. He then married Inaya and welcomed two children, Sara and Raiyan. His third marriage was with Kate Elizabeth, who later divorced him, after welcoming their child Dani Maqsood Ali.
After an illustrious musical career in Mumbai with hits like Ek Pal Ka Jeena, Lucky moved to Bengaluru after his father, veteran actor Mehmood’s death. The singer had earlier told Indian Express that he felt like he didn’t belong in Mumbai. Despite knowing a lot of people, he always felt like a “stranger in the crowd”.
This year, Lucky reunited with his brother-in-law Mikey McCleary for the song Intezaar. The two have previously worked on hit tracks like Sunoh and O Sanam.
