SIALKOT:
A local NGO, Rose Human Rights Welfare organisation, has distributed text books among 5,000 deserving the students attending public schools across the province. The Rose Human Rights president disclosed this while talking to reporters on Tuesday. He said that more than 2,000 deserving students would also be given free of cost text books in Sialkot within the week. “Our sole aim is to provide equal opportunities for quality education to deserving students. Those who want to study should never have to give it up because of lack of resources,” he said. Rose NGO officials said that they were purchasing additional text books for different grades and would recommence distribution in other districts within a week. “We plan on distributing an additional 2,000 books in Sialkot and are working out the required number for other districts,” said NGO social worker Mussarrat Tazeen.
