Weapons recovered in raid

Police have seized a haul of weapons, including shot guns and automatic repeaters, during a raid on an address in Baldia Town which also yielded an arrest.

While speaking to The Express Tribune, SP Baldia Town Faizan Ali identified the arrested suspect as Imran Ali who recently committed a burglary at a private school in Saeedabad.

The seized weapons, which belonged to the school security guards, were stolen by the suspect during the same burglary. The school administration reported the stolen weapons to police.

SP Faizan said that Imran’s affiliation with any terrorist group could not be established.
