Minister says 23 major govt hospitals being built in Punjab

Punjab Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid has said the private healthcare business community from Pakistan particularly from Punjab should take full advantage of Pak-Turkey Healthcare Business Forum and Exhibition.

She expressed these views during a meeting with Turkey Deputy Health Minister Professor Tolga Toloni at a local hotel.

Turkish Deputy Minister of Health Professor Tolga Toloni along with Health Services Director General Dr Salami Kulci and Turkish Consul General Emir Ozbey were also present.

Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid discussed issues of mutual interest with Turkish Deputy Minister of Health Professor Tolga Toloni.

Deputy Health Minister of Turkey Professor Tolga Toloni appreciated health projects by health.

Dr Yasmin Rashid said close and friendly relations between Pakistan and Turkey have been established.

The private health business community from Pakistan, especially Punjab, should take full advantage of the Pak-Turkey Healthcare Business Forum and Exhibition.

“Doctors will get a chance to learn a lot in the forum and exhibition. We are trying to provide better health facilities to the people of Punjab,” she said.

Dr Yasmin Rashid said 23 major government hospitals and 11 Mother and Child Hospitals are also being built in Punjab.

Provincial Minister of Primary and Secondary Health Care Department Dr Akhtar Malik said that basic steps are being taken to provide better health facilities to the people of Punjab.

Deputy Health Minister Turkish Professor Tolga Tuloni paid tribute to the Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid for providing free treatment facilities to the people of Punjab through Sehat Sahulat Card.

There was also an exchange of gifts between Provincial Ministers of Health Dr Yasmin Rashid, Dr Akhtar Malik and Deputy Minister of Health Turkey Professor Tolga Tuloni.
