The launch of the Artemis rocket, US space agency NASA's new Space Launch System (SLS), was delayed till mid-November after an earlier date was scrubbed due to Hurricane Ian..
NASA successfully secured the rocket from the storm by transferring the rocket to the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB).
According to Space.com, the space agency said that “there was no damage to Artemis flight hardware” with only “minor water intrusion”.
The Artemis 1 launch is expected to send an Orion capsule to explore the moon for its upcoming future mission to land on its surface. The rocket launch has been delayed quite previously due to engine issues and a large leak.
