RCCI chief vows to resolve issues

The community is concerned about the deployment of FBR staff within business premises and strongly condemns it

RAWALPINDI:

Newly elected office bearers and executive members of the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) have taken an oath of office. Saqib Rafiq, acting as President of Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce for the year 2022-23, Muhammad Hamza Sarosh as Senior Vice President and Faisal Shahzad as Vice President have been sworn in. Group leader Sohail Altaf said that the country’s economy is facing difficulties at the moment and hailed the appointment of the new Finance Minister Ishaq Dar. He said that the business community has a lot of hope. However, the community is concerned about the deployment of FBR staff within business premises and strongly condemns it. “It amounts to harassment,” he said. In his address on the occasion, Rafiq said that his first priority will be to make Rawalpindi the center of commercial activities and to provide maximum facilities to the Chamber members.
