Uzbekistan: Investment opportunities highlight

ISLAMABAD:
Uzbekistan’s Ambassador Oybek Arif Usmanov has offered the Pakistani business community to invest in his country in various fields particularly in textiles, energy, pharmaceuticals and leather to further enhance bilateral trade between both countries. In a meeting with Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) President Haji Ghulam Ali, he said that his country offered vast opportunities and liberal incentive packages for investment. On behalf of Uzbekistan’s government, he invited a business delegation to visit Uzbekistan to utilize real trade and investment potential existing between two countries. A Pakistani delegation will meet Uzbek prime minister and business community members next month to further strengthen Pak-Uzbek ties, enhance trade volume, finalise joint ventures for investment.
