Man kills brother over property dispute

KARACHI:

A man was killed, and his wife was injured after being stabbed with a sharp instrument in a house near Rifa-e- Aama Society Park.

In this regard, SHO Al Falah Badar Police station Badar Shakeel said that the incident occurred during a domestic dispute while the victim was identified as 62-year-old Muhammad Nasir. The deceased's wife also suffered injuries.

Police shifted the dead body to Jinnah Hospital for medico-legal formalities. He said Abid's younger brother killed him during a quarrel with a sharp instrument, escaped from the crime scene and threw the murder weapon at the murder spot. He added that the police are actively searching for the accused. Badar Shakeel said that according to the preliminary investigation, the incident occurred over a property dispute.

The deceased refused to sign the property documents prepared in Lahore, on which the younger brother took an extreme step and attacked the elder brother and injured Seema, the victim's wife, who came to rescue his husband. The injured Seema has been shifted to the hospital, where she is being given medical aid. However, the police are investigating the incident further.
