Boy kidnapped for ransom safely recovered
Anti-violent crime cell police safely recovered the eight-year-old child kidnapped from Surjani Town, arrested three suspects and recovered a motorcycle and a mobile phone from the accused's possession. Cases are also registered against an accused in Khairpur.
According to the details, unknown suspects abducted eight-year-old Abdullah, son of Shafiqullah, from the Surjani Town area on September 13th. On the complaint of Shafiqullah, a charge sheet number 1438/22 was registered in Surjani Town police station under section 364A against unknown accused persons.
According to the text of the case, eight-year-old Abdullah went out with his cousin Waqas to fetch water from the house when two motorcycle-riding accused forcibly took Abdullah with them on the motorcycle in Sector 4A.
The accused called Abdullah's father and demanded a ransom of 2.5 million rupees for his release. The police, while investigating, arrested three suspects from the Pahlwan Goth area of Gulistan Johar yesterday.
A case has also been registered against one of the accused in Khairpur. Initially, it was found in the investigation that the accused group was involved in the kidnapping of children, and these incidents also have happened in Sindh as well in the past. Police officials further said that a motorcycle and a mobile phone called for ransom have also been recovered from the accused's possession.
Further investigation has been started against the accused, in which many more essential revelations are expected.
