Two bodies retrieved from Rawal Dam

The bodies have been transferred to the Polyclinic hospital for medico-legal formalities, the police said

The bodies of a young girl and a boy were found in Rawal Dam within Secretariat police limits. According to police, the identities of the victims could not be ascertained.

The bodies have been transferred to the Polyclinic hospital for medico-legal formalities, the police said.

They added that no identity card or documents were recovered from the victims.

Meanwhile, Islamabad police apprehended seven criminals, including two members of a bike lifter gang, and recovered eight stolen bikes, drugs and weapons with ammunition from their possession.

Sihala police team used the latest technology and human resources and arrested two members of a bike-lifting gang.

Police also recovered eight stolen bikes from their possession. The accused were identified as Usman Ali and Muhammad Aadil. Cases against the nominated accused have been registered and further investigation is underway. Bani Gala police team arrested two accused namely Noman and Arslan and recovered two 30-bore pistols with ammunition from their possession. Aabpara police arrested an accused namely Osama and recovered dagger from his possession.
