ISLAMABAD:

A joint initiative has been taken by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra), in collaboration with the Department of Explosives, at the Hydrocarbon Development Institute of Pakistan (HDIP), where various multi-story buildings in the E-11 sector of Islamabad were inspected for safe self-use of LPG as domestic fuel.

During an inspection, it was found that commercial LPG cylinders were randomly stacked in the basement of some commercial and residential buildings from where the LPG was being supplied to different floors, via sub-standard rubber pipes with loose connections and poor quality, which was a risk that could result in fatalities and damage of property.
