Akhtar criticises Afghan crowd for not showing 'right spirit'

Videos of Afghanistan fans breaking chairs in Sharjah went viral after the one-wicket loss to Pakistan

KARACHI:

Pace legend Shoaib Akhtar criticised the Afghan fans for not showing the 'right spirit' after losing to Pakistan by one wicket on Wednesday.

Tail-ender Naseem Shah hit two consecutive sixes off Fazalul Haq Farooqi in the last over to help Pakistan book a spot in the final of the 2022 Asia Cup.

Pakistan, asked to chase 130 by Afghanistan, lost the plot till Naseem came in and guided them to an unbelievable victory.
