As many as 505,186 registered voters will cast their ballots in the upcoming NA-108 (Faisalabad-VIII) by-polls, scheduled on September 25.
District Election Commissioner-II Irfan Kausar said on Wednesday that 353 polling stations, including 164 for men, 160 for women and 29 combined, would be set up in the constituency to facilitate the voters, in addition to 1,086 polling booths.
He added that in the by-polls, 271,039 male voters and 234,247 female voters will exercise their right to vote.
He said that NA-108 was a PML-N stronghold and would give a crushing defeat to rival candidates in the by-election. He added that PTI Chairman Imran Khan Niaz had filed his papers to contest the by-election, but voters would reject him due to his attitude.
