BAHAWALPUR:
A special ceremony was held at Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) to pay tribute to the martyrs of the country on Defence Day.
Vice-Chancellor IUB Engr. Prof. Dr Athar Mahboob said that on September 6th 1965, our brave forces crushed the enemy.
“The special feature of the 1965 war was the spirit of ideal love for the Pakistan Army and the people of Pakistan.” Chancellor Dr Naveed Akhtar said, “Today, there is a crucial need to awaken and re-energize this spirit again.”
