That is what takes place in these portraits by Ashna Khan in collaboration with 9Solutions, Qasim Liaquat and the alluring models Alicia Khan, Zara Peerzada, Fareeha Sheikh and Atikah Gardezi.
It truly is a surreal, enchanting journey that is expressed through these captivating portraits, with each carrying a different mood and aesthetic.
With eccentric, edgy and artistic makeup, fantastical lighting and a focus directly on the face, these portraits look back at the viewer in a battle to be seen. They exist not as spectacle or a simple set of pictures but as a question of what or who is being seen and for what?
Bronze Mystery
This mysterious makeup look will surely turn heads. This day time smokey eye has been created with the truest bronze eye makeup with a very subtle golden shimmer. The super pigmented eyeshadow gives depth to eyes and creates mystery, blends like a dream and is very smooth on days when you want that little something on your eyes, bronze never lets you down. It makes you eyes stand out and give them a little mysterious look. Never fades during the day or night.
Aqua Wave
Turquoise is always tricky yet fun. On medium and deep skin tones it looks fresh and vibrant especially mixed with red bold lips like created on the model. Serving up a playful yet effortlessly stylish vibe, this look takes creativity to the next level. Spray generously tinted blue hairspray on sleek back hair to complete the look.
Fluorescent Crease
Reimagine your colour vision, style your look with a pale face and big hair do. Nude eyes are made to return this season, gracing the eyes of models bringing the ’90s trend back with some grown-up glamour. For this high-octane look, the makeup artist applied the white eyeshadow wet with a liner brush, stroked close along the lash line, and then winged outwards to create a futuristic flick. It is a fresh, festive alternative to black liner look. Pair with nude lacquered lips. The textured wet look on the face is the catwalk style of the season, though it can be a tricky trend to wear. The makeup artist gives the dark-haired stunner an exquisite dewy makeup look.
