Samsung is now adding new functionality to its older foldable phones and smartwatches, which will soon be eligible for One UI updates.

The update would mean new features such as multitasking gestures, optimizations for large-screened devices, first-party app enhancements and a PC-like taskbar for phones will be added. Galaxy watches will get new faces and better customizations.

The company is rolling out UI 4.1.1 upgrade to all Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 devices globally. Samsung intends to launch the One UI 4.1.1 upgrade for Galaxy Z Fold 2, Galaxy Z Flip, and Galaxy Z Fold soon.

The One UI Watch 4.4 was only available to Galaxy Watch 5 but will now be available to Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic. This means six new interactive watch faces, additional customizations, along with a new QWERTY keyboard.

The company has yet to release a date for Watch 4.5 but has said that Galaxy Watch 3 and Galaxy Watch Active 2 will be eligible for a separate software upgrade at the end of the month. These smartwatches will get selected features from the One UI Watch 4.5 like two new watch faces, snore analysis, and support for blood pressure and ECG measuring.
