Viral diseases: 7 dengue cases in last one week
Total cases across Sindh are 141.

As the dengue season rolls in, authorities believe they have a relatively better grip on the illness this year round. With seven cases reported in the last one week, the total of cases across Sindh is 141. Of this 122 are reported from Karachi while 19 are from rural Sindh. The health department’s spokesperson for dengue Dr Shakeel Aamir Mullick says now that dengue wards have been set up at all government hospitals, the public should immediately seek help if they feel symptoms. Last year the number of dengue cases in Sindh totalled 4,083. However, the end of October and November are when experts say the number of cases start rising.
