Expectant mother dies of suffocation
The woman fainted at the money collecting point of BISP due to a lack of oxygen and drinking water

A pregnant woman died of suffocation while many other women fainted at a Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) collection point in Khairpur on Tuesday.
According to details, the woman, identified as Khursheed Begum, fainted at the money collecting point of BISP due to lack of oxygen and drinking water.
Khursheed was shifted to Civil Hospital where she died later.
According to local police, a BISP point has been set up at the Government Mumtaz College, Khairpur for disbursement of money among the flood affectees.
