Personnel of Khanewal Police Station managed to recover three-day-old infant who had been allegedly kidnapped by the newborn’s aunt.

The police action was so swift that the baby was recovered and the accused arrested in only a few hours’ time.

According to the details, an incident of abduction of a three-day-old girl took place within the jurisdiction of Makhdoompur Police Station in Khanewal district.

A case 257/22 was registered on the complaint of the baby’s mother, Farhat Bibi, on which DPO Khanewal Jalil Imran took strict notice and issued orders to immediately recover the girl and arrest the accused involved in the abduction and SDPO Sadar Circle Khanewal Muhammad Imran formed a team consisting of hardworking and capable police officers of the police station under the leadership of SHO Makhdoompur police station.

The police team quickly recovered the three-day-old infant with the help of modern technology and arrested the girl's aunt Sameera and her husband Imran.

It was revealed during the investigation of the arrested accused that Samira Bibi wanted to sell the girl for a huge amount.
