Police detained a man who lost his temper and smashed up several electronics and hurled profanities, due to the delayed service of his order, in a well-known fast food outlet on Lahore Road. The staff and management tried to pacify him, but he continued to misbehave and hurl insults at employees.

Restaurant management handed the suspect over to police, after beating him with heavy punches, slaps and kicks. The suspect was also allegedly under the influence of alcohol.

As per details, 35-year-old Asad lost his temper after not being served his food on time at the restaurant. The customer and restaurant staff had a bitter argument, before the franchise owner of the hotel also got involved. The enraged customer also smashed electronic terminals behind the counter.

Asad did not comply and entered a physical scuffle with the restaurant owner. Seeing the fight, employees reported the scene to SHO Housing Colony Police Station Basharat Gujjar. Police arrived at the scene and reviewed the CCTV footage of the hotel, as well as videos of the incident posted on social media. The police then contacted the family of accused Asad.

Asad suffers mental health issued, for which he undergoing treatment. On the day of the incident, Asad left the house alone, which allegedly led to his unruly behavior. According to SHO Basharat Gujjar, the incident is being investigated on its merits and action will be taken against those found responsible.
