Kim Kardashian’s Tesla-themed posts and Ivanka Trump connection spark speculation about political motivations.

Kim Kardashian has ignited online speculation after posting photos featuring Tesla products on Instagram and X, with some fans interpreting the posts as a political statement. 

Kardashian posed with a Tesla Cybertruck and an Optimus robot, a move many linked to Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s alignment with President-elect Donald Trump. The posts followed Kardashian’s recent publicized connections with Ivanka Trump, including a Beverly Hills birthday party appearance in 2023.

Despite speculation, Kardashian has not endorsed a candidate in recent elections, maintaining her political neutrality. Her history of bipartisan criminal justice reform efforts adds complexity to the narrative. In 2018, she successfully campaigned for Alice Marie Johnson’s release with assistance from Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, despite not supporting Donald Trump’s re-election in 2020.

Kardashian also collaborated with Vice President Kamala Harris in April 2024 on criminal justice initiatives. Critics and commentators on social media, however, have linked her Tesla posts to Musk’s and Trump’s political connections, with one user commenting, “Tell us who you voted for without saying who you voted for.” Kardashian has declined to address the speculation, leaving her motivations open to interpretation.
