Syllabus Re-Haul: ‘Christian figures must be included’
Include the achievements and contributions of the Christians of Pakistan in the academic syllabus at every level.

Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed of The Lahore High Court on Monday issued notice to the Punjab government to reply to a petition praying for a direction to the government to include the achievements and contributions of the Christians of Pakistan in the academic syllabus at every level. The petitioner, Advocate Nathaniel Gill, submitted that the Christian community also played an important role in the creation of Pakistan and suffered equally with the Muslims. Sacrifices rendered by Christians for the sake of Pakistan are going unnoticed in the history of Pakistan, the petitioner added. He prayed to the court for a direction to the Punjab government to give space in the educational syllabi at every level to the sacrifices and struggle of Christians of Pakistan.
