Double Homicide: Mother, daughter found killed

Strangled to death in their home allegedly by the daughter's lover

LAHORE: A woman and her daughter were strangled to death in their home, allegedly by the former’s lover, in Liaqatabad police area late on Sunday. Sub Inspector Sabir Hussain said that Shehnaz, 42, and Irum, 18, were found dead on their beds with marks around their necks by Shehnaz’s other daughter and husband when they visited their flat near Dhala Stop on Monday. He said that a murder case had been lodged against Arshad on the complaint of Falak Sher, Shehnaz’s brother. The complainant had said that Arshad had been in a relationship with Shehnaz.
