Four unknown armed suspects snatched Rs8 million from a manager and cashier of a petrol pump and escaped.

According to the details, four unknown armed suspects snatched Rs8 million from manager Irfan and cashier Wahaj Mehmood of a petrol pump in front of Al Asif check-post, Sohrab Goth Mor, within the limit of Sachal Police Station.

After receiving information about the occurrence, police arrived on the scene, collected evidence, and recorded the manager's and cashier's initial statements. The police have begun their investigation to apprehend the suspect.

In this regard, SHO Sachal Mazhar Iqbal Awan told The Express Tribune that manager Irfan and cashier Wahaj Mehmood of a petrol pump located in front of Al-Asif Checkpost on Sohrab Gotha Mor were going to deposit money in a private bank located on Abul Hasan Isfahani Road on a motorcycle.

Meanwhile, four unidentified armed suspects on two motorcycles crossed them, snatched Rs8 million at gunpoint, and fled.

The SHO said that the accused involved in the incident wore helmets to hide their identity. He said that police were trying to get footage of the CCTV cameras installed around the area so that the accused involved in the incident could be traced and arrested.
