After being compared to Nida Yasir, Aymen Saleem responds to troll

Actor and model Aymen Saleem has shut down haters after a troll left a comment on her Instagram post comparing her to long-time television host Nida Yasir.

“Why don’t you start hosting! The way you speak non-stop, you’ll beat Nida Yasir,” the comment read. The Chupke Chupke actor replied to the comment, defending not only herself but also the damaging stance that female actors and hosts have to be constantly compared to one another.

“You don’t have to beat others to do something well. Learning to co-exist is the key!” Aymen clapped back. “And by the way, I do agree with you – I think I would be a great game show host,” the actor lightly added at the end.

In an earlier interview, the actor spoke about the success of her TV debut catching her off-guard. During an appearance at Time Out With Ahsan Khan, Saleem shared, “Chupke Chupke was such a huge hit and we were given so much love and support by our fans and well-wishers, but if I’m being completely honest, I was a little overwhelmed. It was just so much, and I was very grateful for it and really humbled, but I wasn’t sure if I was ready for this. So I wanted to make sure I take a step back, re-evaluate what I want to do and that if I come back, then I should come back to stay.”

Aside from acting, Aymen has modelled for numerous brands and is often spotted taking part in various entertainment and fashion-related gigs.
