Man shot dead by suspected robbers

Victim's mobile phone and wallet were found available with him while he was a resident of North Nazimabad, Block B

Robbers allegedly shot and killed a man in his car in North Nazimabad, while armed robbers injured a person in Korangi over resistance and a minor girl sustained firearm injuries in a mysterious firing incident in Lyari.

A person was killed in a firing incident on a car on the road leading from KDA Chowrangi toward Five Star Chowrangi in the North Nazimabad area. His body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital by Chhipa volunteers, where the victim was identified as Owais Khan, 45. North Nazimabad police said that initially, the incident appeared to be a case of resistance during the robbery.

However, the victim's mobile phone and wallet were found available with him while he was a resident of North Nazimabad, Block B and was alone in his car at the time of the incident. The police searched the closed-circuit TV cameras installed nearby to get vital information about the suspects with the help of their footage.

Meanwhile, robbers shot and injured Manzoor Hussain, 26, when he resisted an armed robbery near Al-Khalil Mosque in the 100 Quarters area of Korangi's Sector 50-D.
