LAHORE:

On Friday, three suspects were arrested by the police for murdering two persons and injuring four at a fast food restaurant in Baghbanprua. Police also registered a case against the suspects for killing a trader over refusal to pay extortion in Islampura.

The arrested suspects were identified as Mustafa, Hero Gujjar and Tahir Gujjar. They had been nominated in the FIR as well identified by the police through CCTV footage.

An FIR was registered in Baghbanpura police station by Mohsin Raza Bhatti, a resident of Thokar Niaz Beg and a driver by profession. The complainant said his brother identified as Hassan Raza worked as a BBQ expert at Rahim Fast Food near Wara Chungi Stop, GT Road.

Mohsin said in the FIR that he was visiting his brother and were busy in conversation with the hotel owner and other workers were busy working at around 8:30pm when seven to eight armed motorcyclists approached. They instantly resorted to straight firing at the persons present at the hotel.

The exchange of fire was so intense that the vehicles on GT Road stopped and panic spread among the public.

A bullet hit the back of his brother and he fell to the ground.
