Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar to visit China

Khar has so far visited India and Turkey after been elected as the first female foreign minister of Pakistan.

BEIJING:
Pakistan's Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar will visit China from August 23 to 24, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Ma Zhaoxu said on Monday, Xinhua news agency reported.

Khar’s Chinese counterpart Yang Jiechi has invited her to make the official visit, Ma said.

"The two sides will exchange views on consolidating and deepening the strategic cooperative partnership between China and Pakistan and on other regional and international issues that are of concern to both," he added.

Khar has so far visited India and Turkey after been elected as the first female foreign minister of Pakistan.

As reported earlier, Khar said the dialogue process with India will no longer be interrupted.

She said both countries had agreed that the dialogue must be a continuous process, adding that talks lose credibility when disrupted.

Khar said that she met political leaders across the country, including the leader of opposition, adding that India wants to resolve all issues including the Kashmir dispute.
