Blue World City announces to introduce nation's largest cricket stadium at its Sports Valley

Blue World City, the world's first purpose-built tourist city, located on Chakri Road in Rawalpindi, recently hosted an orientation ceremony for its Sports Valley block.

A phenomenal ceremony was held in Rawalpindi-Islamabad, with Chairman Blue World City Saad Nazir, CEO Chaudhry Nadeem Ijaz, and many renowned real estate dealers and investors in attendance. The event highlighted the unique features, modern amenities, and facilities that this block will offer.

During this momentous celebration, Blue World City also announced plans to build Pakistan's largest cricket stadium in Sports Valley, along with high-rise commercial towers.

To mark the occasion, Aab-e-Zamzam and Ajwa dates were served to the guests with respect to BWC management’s arrival from Hajj-e-Akbar 2022.

Talking to the media at the event, Chairman Blue World City - Mr Saad Nazir explained:

“We are introducing a world-class Sports Valley in the World’s first purpose-built tourist city, which will prove to be a revolution in the Pakistani real estate market as it will promote domestic, as well as international sports activities. The most prominent feature of Sports Valley is Pakistan’s largest cricket stadium, which will have a seating capacity of over 55,000 spectators."

The stadium will be surrounded by high-rise commercial and residential buildings, allowing residents to follow the games live from their terraces and rooftops. Moreover, Mr Nazir disclosed that the Blue World City is attempting to develop Pakistan's real estate market in an innovative and modern way by introducing features of a world-class nature.

CEO of Blue World City - Chaudhry Nadeem Ijaz also shared his thoughts:

“The purpose of introducing Sports Valley is to promote sports tourism in the first purpose-built tourist city of the world. Easily accessible from Defence Road, Blue World City’s Sports Valley will feature Torch Hotel, Villaggio Mall, Sports Clubs and other sports facilities like cycling tracks, hockey, volleyball, badminton, basketball and tennis courts.

A replica of the Blue Mosque Istanbul will also be installed at Sports Valley to promote tourism in the region. As we introduce unique and innovative projects to the country's real estate market, we aim to accelerate its development and get it on par with global standards."
