Alleged killer of wife still at large

The killer of the newly married woman, who was murdered in Gulshan Iqbal, could not be arrested even after a week.

The victim's family said that Hafsa was married to Hassan but was killed within just three months of marriage. To make the incident appear as a suicide, Hassan had hung her body from the ceiling fan hook.

However, the facts came to light only after seeing the body because the height of the roof is very low and the victim's legs were touching the bed near her knees.

A case of the incident was registered against Hafsa's husband Hassan in Gulshan Iqbal police station under the provisions of murder.
