ATH staff gets 15% raise in salary
A revised pay scale has been approved for the employees of Ayub Medical College and the attached hospital. In this regard, 15pc increment has been approved in the salaries of both regular and contractual employees.
This decision came after the 74th meeting of the Board of Governors (BOG) of Ayub Medical College (AMC) and Ayub Teaching Hospital (ATH) on Monday where the chairman of BOG, Dr Aasim Yusuf, reviewed the performance and functioning of the institutions and appraised the development projects.
BOG not only ordered implementation of a revised pay scale but he also approved increase in the pension of retired employees. Moreover, the board also approved the purchase of equipment for the hospital and instructed to issue the purchased orders without any delay after fulfilling all the formalities so that better health care facilities can be provided to the patients.
The BoG also approved the plan for better implementation of the Sehat Sahulat Program for the benefit of the patients. He complemented the KP government by providing the required budget for all the ongoing projects.
