IT ministry, SCO agree to increase cooperation

Matters relating to common interest and information and communication technology were discussed

ISLAMABAD:

Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Secretary General Zhang Ming called on Federal Minister for IT and Telecommunication Syed Aminul Haque.

Matters relating to common interest and information and communication technology were discussed. The two sides agreed to increase cooperation between the Ministry of IT and the SCO Secretariat.

Haque apprised the SCO secretary general of the steps taken by the IT ministry. He expressed his desire to work with the SCO in areas including artificial intelligence, cloud services and digital connectivity, adding that Pakistan could become a digital hub with better facilities for the SCO member countries.
