Body of man retrieved from Khanpur Dam
According to the police, no identification documents were found in the pockets of the man
HARIPUR:
The body of an unidentified 30-year-old man was recovered from Khanpur Dam on Sunday morning.
The rescue team recovered the body from the dam and shifted it to the hospital in Khanpur for a post-mortem and identification. According to the police, no identification documents were found in the pockets of the man.
They said that it appeared the man had drowned. Police said that further investigations were being conducted on other aspects as well. There are no signs of torture on the body, the police said adding that the cause of death will be clear after the post-mortem.
