Sindh government decision to deploy private security guards and policemen from other areas of the provinces has drawn criticism from political parties.
Rejecting the idea of deploying private security guards, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi chief Engr Hafiz Naeemur Rehman has demanded of the government to deploy the army and rangers personnel at polling stations under Article 245 of the Constitution of Pakistan.
Meanwhile, Pak Sarzameen Party Chairman Syed Mustafa Kamal said on Wednesday that PPP -led Sindh government has called police from other cities of the province to rig the local bodies elections in Karachi and Hyderabad.
"They are not police but workers of PPP," he claimed.
